>Groundhog Day Blizzard

>The Big Blizzard of 2011 finally wound down today, after the Michigan “groundhog” Woody saw her shadow. I totally believe that prediction. We have PILES of snow, have still not shoveled out, and I am waving the white flag of Winter Surrender.

Enough already.

I usually hibernate in January and February, but cabin fever has me spinning wheels. Must get myself out of this deep rut. Having several queries and a full mss out in Limbo Land doesn’t help, with no answer in sight. I really must get used to this and force myself to produce every day. Ok, enough self-lecturing. Time to make good on all these half promises. I *will* revise Double Crossing all the way through, resume writing Dead Man’s Hook where I left off after NaNoWriSlo and get my usual non-fiction articles written as well. Less FB time – I totally got rid of Farm Town, and will have to go back to regular “hours” like “9-11″ and “3-6″ with the in-between time for whatever else I need to do. NO MORE SNOW, NO MORE  PROCRASTINATING!

I still have craft books to finish from grad school, for heaven’s sake. Somebody slap me. Then again, I can always hunker down with a good ‘toon book and laugh a bit, while it’s snowing again this weekend…
