Love westerns? Are you a fan of the Duke, James Arness, Clint Eastwood, Bonanza, the Rifleman, the Virginian, High Chaparral, etc.?
My friend Jacquie Rogers is starting up a new blog, Romancing the West, which will debut on July 1st. Besides her collaboration with Ann Charles on the Nail It! book (a steal of a deal, available by clicking here), Jacquie’s next book Much Ado About Marshals is coming out soon. Here’s the scoop on her blog Romancing the West.
According to Jacquie’s Facebook page, each week there will be a special guest. On Mondays, RTW features a western novel and an interview with the author. On Thursdays, the featured author will post an article on an Old West topic. I’m scheduled to talk about Double Crossing in September, so keep an eye peeled.
July 1: a Grand Opening $25 Amazon Gift Certificate and some free books will be awarded to one lucky commenter!
July 4: Kat Martin and L.J Martin talk about their book TIN ANGEL.
CONTESTS – authors are scheduled throughout July and many are running contests, so check back every Monday and Thursday.
RTW has a great line-up, since Jacquie is on the ball and already scheduling for October. “Pull up a chair and grab a cup of strong coffee,” she says. “You’re in for some great stories!” Check out Romancing the West in less than ten days from now!

Dusting off some of my old Western romance ideas NOW. What a fabulous idea for a blog!
You bet! Jacquie is a smart cookie!
I believe Westerns are making a big come back–my grandfather reads everything that comes out each month in the genre, including the crossovers into romance.
I’m excited for you, Meg!
Heidi
Thanks, Heidi! I’ve always loved westerns… good for your grandfather! My dad is looking forward to reading it too.
Thanks for the shout out, Meg! I’ll be looking forward to your feature as well as your article on Romancing The West. And I’m really looking forward to the release of DOUBLE CROSSING in August!
Same here with Much Ado! Love the blog… can’t wait to “appear” there.
